LOOKING FOR SOMETHING NEW?
Our brand spanking newly built and well-equipped practice has been open for just over 2 years and we are now looking for an enthusiastic, wonderful part time Registered Veterinary Nurse to help expand our team and to help build up this dynamic and exciting practice in North Finchley.
The Finchley Vet is a new, independent practice with strong core values of
being local and community based,
personal to each individual
being easy to use in all aspects.
This role presents a tremendous, and very genuine, opportunity to be a vital member of a small team. At the same time, offering invaluable experience and knowledge about the development and growth of a dynamic, new practice.
The position will be very varied, with the successful candidate taking a role in all aspects of patient care, helping to keep the patients and clinical standards ship shape. The successful candidate will also play a vital role in helping set up for procedures and ensuring that our practice runs smoothly and remains stocked. Nurse consulting is a huge thing for our practice and you must have great communication skills, a passion for caring for pets to a very high standard and good organisational skills.
This is a part time position (9-20 hours per week – we can be very flexible on this) within a rota which covers various shifts within our working hours of 8:30am-7:30pm Mon-Fri, 9am-1:30pm Sat but we are open to interesting suggestions about different working arrangements ... Currently there is a 1:3 Saturday mornings rota and no Out Of Hours requirement. For the right candidate, we would also be prepared to consider a week day only role.
The role will also entitle you to a CPD allowance, RCVS renewal and VDS fees paid and a staff discount.
