(Full Time or Part Time)
Our vet practice is a little different to the norm!
With a welcoming, non-clinical waiting area decked out in wood and a wall full of pictures of our pet patients, to our staff and clients who almost all on first name terms, we are proud to be different.
We are lucky to be growing at quite a rate (despite covid) and one of our Client Care Assistants who has been with us since the beginning is going to start a new life in a faraway part of the country. So, we are looking for two full or part time team members to help us in our mission to lead the UK’s veterinary practices in customer care, allowing clinical veterinary staff to provide exceptional medical care for all pets.
The team share a performance related team bonus every quarter, which you would be eligible for after your probation period), we have regular team meetings to keep us all up to date and try to meet socially at least twice a year outside of the practice (paid for by the practice). We are a practice that passionately believes in treating our clients and each other right. That means that we politely part ways with any nasty clients and have ended up with almost 1000 active clients who are great to work with and share our vision for great health care for their pets.
Our Client Care Team is super friendly and welcoming to our clients. They are engaging, empathetic, gregarious, absolutely switched on, organised, tidy and reliable. Amongst other things, they are responsible for meeting and greeting clients with their pets, making people feel comfortable and welcome, comforting owners that can be sad or upset, booking procedures and consultations and keeping the place organised and tidy. The slightly more experienced members of the team also help clients with their insurance claims, financing options, help develop and update our operational procedures and help to hold animals for examinations.
Do you think you would fit into our team? Do you have high end customer care, hospitality or retail experience? Do you love animals and people and want to work in an environment where both are important?
You don’t need to know much about our industry as we will give you on the job training. You just want to have to do the job, although some experience so that you know that you would be happy in a vet practice would be wonderful. But you will need a good level of written and spoken English, have a good or excellent knowledge of windows based word processing, email and internet browser programmes (although we will train you on our specific practice management software) and be prepared to get your hands dirty (figuratively and literally!).

To keep our team as safe as possible we have installed screens, hand sanitiser, masks and hand wash facilities, all provided by the practice. We also have limited the number of clients inside at any one time and insist they wear masks whenever possible.
